Introduction to International Relations

Aim of the course: The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to the theory of international relations (IR) and, while doing so, to provide a theoretical framework and actual ability for the students to understand, evaluate and analyse the contemporary trends of the international arena. The course works in an interactive manner and builds on the reading materials provided to the students.

10. Foreign Policy Analysis, Methodological Debates and Key Issues in Contemporary IR
11. The Catholic Social Tradition on International Relations

Testing and evaluation:
A presentation and analysis of a specific problem question during the semester or writing an essay in the end of the course.
